Horsey Knibblers
-
are boredom treats created for the horse
that's subject to confinment (boxstall, trailer, etc) for a period of
time. Horsey Knibblers will greatly reduce
cribbing, weaving, pacing and any other traits exhibited by a bored
and otherwise calm horse.
Horsey Knibblers are not a medication nor
are they meant to be a nutritional supplement - they ARE
a horse treat. Horsey Knibblers are
simply an edible toy, a horse treat that's..." FUN
TO DO AND TASTY TOO!"
Horsey Knibblers are available in a choice
of flavors to stimulate and tantalize the hardest to please tastebuds.
When suspended from overhead, at approximately wither height, and allowed
to swing freely, the Horsey Knibbler provides
hours of fun and entertainment that will rid your horse of all that
pent up energy and anxiety. Now, what was previously a "jail cell" has suddenly
become a "playground".
Due to the shape, consistency and application the Horsey
Knibbler will present a challenge to the most skillful
steed. While the Horsey Knibbler is
impossible to devour immediately, a nibble now and then will keep your
horse interested, busy and content for a long time!!
Horsey Knibblers
True Story
-
Miss Deadeye, a previously spectacular cutting horse and now a most
valuable broodmare belonging to Missing
Creek Ranch in Elbert Co, Colorado, suffered a devastating
compond fracture that nearly resulted in euthanasia. The surgeon felt
there was a slim chance he could save her and surgery was performed.
The prognosis was hopeful, providing she be kept confined for 3 - 4
months, the cast changed periodically and above all, she needed to stay
calm with little or no activity. Miss Deadeye could barely lie down
or get up unassisted, let alone get exercise.
Horsey Knibblers were hung in her stall every
few days as a means of entertainment without mobility. The owners of
Missing
Creek Ranch feel that Horsey Knibblers
helped Miss Deadeye to pass the time and were a significant aide in
her convalescence. Miss Deadeye isn't 100% yet, but is well on her way
and in foal for a 2007 Baby!
Oh, by the way, a surplus of Horsey Knibblers
are kept at all times!
Another True Story
-
Joe Landers of Joe
Landers Stallion Station, a reputable breeding facility
in Weatherford, Texas, had a stallion showing on a recent weekend in
Ft. Worth. Joe was concerned about two of his premier stallions that
didn't do well when he confined them to a stall for extended periods
of time. They would pace, weave and get a bit rowdy.
It just so happened Joe had taken a newly received case of Horsey
Knibblers to the show. Joe called after his busy weekend
to say that after hanging a Horsey Knibbler
in each stall, those boys stayed cool as a cucumber that entire weekend.
So, if you have an injured,
nervous, anxious or just plain bored horse remember Horsey Knibblers...
